Samsung unveiled its first-ever flagship laptop the Galaxy Book S in May of 2020. The laptop went head-to-head with other established devices like the Macbook Air and Microsft Surface Laptop. The major difference it carried is the design, where Samsung went with a flat bottom panel instead of the wedge-shaped design which is most common in premium laptops. It wasn't a global launch and was just available to the United Kingdom customers in the initial days.

The South Korean tech leaders aced the design of their Galaxy Book S. An extremely sleek trim that flows continuously to the length of the laptop turned people's head every time it was witnessed. The only part it gets slightly thick is around the type C jack near the edge of the laptop. Other physical parts like the meek Samsung logo at the back, not really centred but sits right at the money enhances the overall aesthetic of the laptop.

Priced at EUR 999 (roughly Rs. 84,000) it is offered in Earthy Gold and Mercury Gray colour options. To recall, Samsung Galaxy Book S with a 13.3-inch display and Qualcomm Snapdragon 8cx processor was launched in August 2019. The ultra-thin and lightweight laptop came with a price tag of $999 (roughly, Rs. 75,500).

The Galaxy Book S (2020) also comes with a fingerprint sensor, ambient light sensor and backlit keyboard. The device features AKG-tuned quad stereo speakers and also comes with Dolby Atmos support. It's weighed at 0.95 KG. It also has a super-responsive touch screen which feels and looks premium.

The laptop boasts 13.3 inches full-HD 1920x1080 pixels display with touch response. The laptop further includes 8GB of LPDDR4x RAM and up to 512GB eUFS storage that is expandable via microSD card (up to 512GB).
