1. Sacred Games season 2: Season 2 of Netflix’s original Sacred Games may left the audience disappointed but it gave the industry a new path to follow. Owing to the success of the first season, the filmmakers decided to come back stronger and for that, they invested somewhere 100 crores rupees on the web series.

2. Made in Heaven: Most of the web series in India are trying to portray the oppressed part of the society and a few of them are shedding light on the upper class. One of the series that spots light on the upper class is Made in Heaven. To match the upper-class standard, the makers came up with larger-than-life sets and mind-blowing sequences, which reportedly cost them 100 crore rupees.

3. 24: Indian version of an American Tv show with the same name, 24 was produced on an outrageous budget of 100 crores. Starring Anil Kapoor in lead, the story of the series revolves around the life of an agent whose mission is to find the culprit within 24 hours.

4. The End: The Khiladi Kumar of the industry, Akshay Kumar is soon going to make her Web series debut with a series titled The End. The series is still in the making process but it has already created a great hype among the audience and the reason behind that is its mind-blowing budget. According to a report by Financial Express, the movie is produced on the budget of 90 crores.

5. Mirzapur season 2: One of the most-watched web series on Amazon Prime Video, Mirzapur is coming back with the third season. And the reason behind, its comeback is the success of season 2. Starring Pankaj Tripathi and Ali Fazal the second season of the movie was produced on the budget of 60 crores.

6. Inside Edge: Inside Edge is considered to be the underdog in the Indian OTT industry, which played exceptionally well on the screens. One of the most celebrated web series of Amazon Prime Video has been made with a combined, production and marketing budget of Rs 40 crore.

7. Maharbharat: Mahabharat was released in 2013 and banked heavily on the VFX team to bring the ancient mythological stories to life. There have been many renditions of the Mahabharat on Indian television since its initial release back in the day. The more recent one, which is available to be streamed for free on Disney+ Hotstar, was made on a massive budget of Rs 100 crore, according to India Today.

8. The Empire: Taking back in the time, The Empire, gives a close overview of the Mughal dynasty. While there is no official revelation from the producers, several reports have claimed that this series has a total budget of 40-45 crores, and given the dynamics involved, it seems to be true.

9. The Family Man: Manoj Tiwari starrer ‘The Family Man’ has been in the buzz, for its 2nd season and it’s not a surprise, given the season had a budget of 20-25 crores which is a significant upgrade from its previous season. With the making of season 3 already in talks, the overall production value of this series, given the acclaim and popularity it has received, is estimated to go even higher.

10. Breathe into the shadows: R. Madhavan and Amit Sadh's starrer Breathe just got a sequel starring Abhishek Bachchan on Amazon Prime. While the budget of the film is not out, an additional 20 crores were spent on the marketing and promotion of the film.
