And we Bollywood buffs often ask why we don’t have any superheroes like Iron man, Superman and etc. But the Bollywood has nurtured many superhero movies which are neglected by the audience or got mixed with the action and thrillers of the industry. Filled with VFX and top-notch action, the Bollywood industry has dropped a slew of superhero movies that introduced a number of classic superheroes. 1. Krrish: We can’t say that Krish is the lost superhero of the Bollywood industry but he didn’t get the praise and hype it deserved. Krrish is the sequel of Hrithik Roshan’s Koi Mil Gaya. The story of the movie follows an extraordinary kid who inherits powers from his father that he got from an alien.

2. Ra.One: A superhero created by Shah Rukh Khan and Anubhav Sinha, Ra. One is one of the few fictional superhero movies that dared to go beyond the imagination of the audience. Decorated with VFX and action sequences, Ra. One is about a game developer who develops a VR video game, the villain from which comes into the real world to catch the hero but it looks like G.one gives his best to stop him.

3. Mr. India: Mr. India is one of the initial superheroes of the industry. The movie portrays the story of an ordinary guy who runs an orphanage. But suddenly his life changes upside down when he gets the power of getting invisible. He uses this power to take down a vicious villain named Mogambo.

4. Zokkomon: After the success of Taare Zameen Par, Darsheel Safary starred in and as Zokkomon, a superhero kid who takes on a supernatural power to take revenge from his maternal uncle and aunt who tyrannized after the death of his parents. The movie co-starring Anupam Kher and Manjari Phadnis flopped.

5. Mr. X: This movie literally went beyond audiences’ imagination. The movie captured Emraan Hashmi playing the role of a cop who inherits the power of getting invisible after an accident. The Vikram Bhatt directorial was inspired by the 1964 film Mr. X in Bombay starring Kishore Kumar.

6. Robot: The pan-India blockbuster, Robot is the story of a Chitti, who is the creation of a renowned scientist. The film had some awe-inspiring cool action sequences that made it one of the highest-grossing Indian films of all time. The film also spawned a sequel, which even went further in terms of extravagant action and box office collections.

7. Ajooba: Big B was not yet done being a superhero on the big screen as he donned the cape once again with Shashi Kapoor’s big-budget epic fantasy Ajooba. The movie turned out to be a massive box office bomb.

8. Mard ko Dard Nahi Hota: Director Vasan Bala has been a long-term collaborator of Anurag Kashyap, the supreme god of the Indian independent filmmaking scene. So how would he do something without it being unique and completely original? The film tells the story of a boy who has a condition that has made him numb to feeling any kind of pain. In order to do something worthwhile with his life, he sets out to save his childhood idol and his sweetheart. It was a bonkers film that deserves multiple viewings.
