Karan Johar: On October 10, Filmmaker Karan Johar left Twitter. He was facing online trolling for a long time. His show Koffee with Karan 7 also got negative comments. Karan Johar needed positive energy, his last tweet was "Making space for more positive energies only and this is step one towards that. Goodbye Twitter!"

Shashank Khaitan: Film director Shashank Khaitan also left twitter in 2020 after Sushant Singh Rajput's death. He believes Twitter became ground for hate and negativity. His last tweet was, "Done with twitter… just a breeding ground for hate and negativity… very sad that a platform so powerful, could not be used to create a better world… praying for peace and love always… deactivating my account now..."

Aamir Khan: Bollywood veteran actor Aamir Khan left Twitter in 2021 after his birthday. He shared a note with his fans to update them about his decision to leave social media. He revealed that he wanted to focus on work and keep himself dedicated to his art.

Sonakshi Sinha: In 2020, after Sushant Singh Rajput's sudden death, people targeted and trolled the star kids. Sonakshi Sinha also got trolled and received hate comments on Twitter. So, she decided to leave Twitter. She took to Instagram and wrote, "The first step to protecting your sanity is to stay away from negativity. And nowhere more of that than Twitter these days. Zaheer Iqbal: Zaheer Iqbal is an actor who made his Bollywood debut in 2018 with the film Notebook. He is rumoured to be dating Sonakshi Sinha. He bid goodbye to Twitter without revealing any particular reason.

Aayush Sharma: Aayush Sharma is an actor known for his performance in the movie "Antim: The Final Truth". He is also the brother-in-law of Salman Khan. Aayush decided to leave Twitter due to negativity. He took to Instagram and wrote, "280 characters are less to define a human being. But 280 characters are more than enough to spread fake news, hatred and negativity. Didn’t sign up for this nasty herd mentality. Khuda hafiz."

Esha Gupta: The gorgeous actress quit Twitter a while ago but kept interacting on social media. She said her team is going to use the account to help needy people during the surge of coronavirus.

Saqib Saleem: Indian actor and model Saqib Saleem left twitter because of bullying and lack of kindness. He shared a big note and thanked his fans and shared his twitter journey in it.
