The FDCI x Lakme Fashion Week 2022 has to come to an end. But the fashion outfits, the fashion week showcased have been living in our heads rent-free. This time around, the fashion week returned to the glorious capital and gave a chance to some of the renowned and emerging names to slip in the outfits designed by globally celebrated designers. while there was no blanket theme or season that was being followed, the fashion week gave us a look at some of the most underlying fashion looks. 1. Janhvi Kapoor: Janvhi Kapoor’s look for the Lakme fashion look is a testament to her love for traditional attires. The budding Bollywood actress walked down the ramp in a brick red chanderi silk lehenga from the latest collection of designer Punit Balana titled as Lakshmi.
2. Mira Rajput: Mira Rajput set the spring vibes high with her look for the event. The wife of Bollywood actor Shahid Kapoor walked the ramp for designer Aisha Rao on day 3 of FDCI X Lakme Fashion Week.
3. Ananya Panday: Ananya Panday took the fashion week ahead of the finishing line while walking down the ramp in label Falguni Shane Peacock. For her look, she wore an off-shoulder mini dress with a dramatic trail which belonged to Falguni’s Earth connection.
4. Harnaaz Sandhu: Miss Universe, Harnaaz Sandhu added charm to her homecoming stardom as she turned showstopper for John Jacobs X designer Shivan and Narresh's show. The model looked out of the world in a a red velvet gown with a glitter mesh halter neck holding it up.
5. Shanaya Kapoor: The Lakme fashion week 2022 witnessed the debut of Shanaya Kapoor in Manish Malhotra cut out dress alongside Sidhanth Chaturvedi. The attire of the actress was from Manish’s Diffuse collection with celebrates the Gen-z culture.
6. Kangana Ranaut: Khadi India did a great iniciative and brought together five labels – MOSSI Abhishek Gupta Benares, Anavila, Anju Modi, Charu Parashar, and Rina Dhaka. They chose none other than Bollywood actress Kangana Ranaut to walk down the ramp for their label.
7. Sonam Bajwa: Sonam Bajwa rocked in a stunning gown from Siddhartha Bansal’s collection ‘Blooming Tales’. The electric blue floor-length gown had vibrant floral motifs, detailed sequins and pearl embroidery. This collection is a sartorial representation of the concept and idea of the conscious evolution of the spiritual being.
8. Shruti Hassan: Shruti Hassan did what she does the best. She donned an Indo-western attire by Adidas Originals X Antar Agni to close the second day of the show. The actress wore a black pantsuit with white sneakers as part of the label’s sustainable collection.
9. Sanjana Sanghi: Sanjana Sanghi debuted as a showstopper for the designers Pankaj And Nidhi at the FDCI x Lakme Fashion Week 2022. The collection was called ‘Marbella’ inspired by the Spanish city of the same name. it represents a strong urge of wanting to be on a luxurious holiday with vibrant clothes while having a good time and enjoying oneself to the fullest.
10. Kriti Sanon: Kriti Sanon closed Day 4 with a bang as she strutted the ramp wearing a gorgeous black bustier gown for Tarun Tahiliani. This shimmery ensemble is a chic contemporary look that Tarun Tahiliani showcased in his Luxury Pret collection.
