In recent times, the air pollution level has increased in India. Cars and other vehicles played a major role in this unfortunate situation. In this case, the government of India took a decisive stand and put a ban on some cars with a time frame. The government has now made the rule to continuously check the emission level of four-wheeler passenger and commercial vehicles. A device will be installed in a vehicle to check the emission level. Some of the cars, and SUVs of big companies like Honda, Mahindra, Tata, Maruti Suzuki, and many others will be discontinued in India from April 2023. Here is the list of some of these vehicles.

Honda City 4th Generation: Honda City 4th Generation is a 5-seater sedan with a starting price of Rs 9.50 to 10 Lakh. This car was launched in January 2014. This car will be discontinued from the market in April 2023.

Mahindra Marazzo M8: Mahindra Marazzo M8 is an 8-seater SUV launched in 2018. It is a diesel car with a price tag of Rs 17.58 Lakh. Mahindra has discontinued the previous M8 variant, however, the rest of the Marozzo will be available in the ex-showroom.

Hyundai i20 diesel: Hyundai is one of the top car sellers in India. In almost every part of India, we can see the I20 cars. The price of the Hyundai i20 diesel is Rs 9.29 Lakh and it was launched in back August 2014. This car will be discontinued from the market from April 2023

Nissan Kicks: Nissan Kicks is a 5-seater SUV launched in January 2019. It is a petrol car with a price tag of Rs 9.50 Lakh. This car will be discontinued from the market in April 2023.

Maruti Suzuki Alto 800 Std, LXI Variants: Maruti Suzuki Auto 800 is one of the highest-selling cars in India. Auto 800 Std, LXI Variants was launched in back 2012 with a price tag of Rs 4.08 Lakh. This car will be discontinued from the market in April 2023, however, other variants of Alto are still available in the car market.

Mahindra KUV 100 NXT: Mahindra KUV 100 NXT is an 8-seater SUV launched in 2016. It is a petrol/diesel SUV with a price tag of Rs 6.18 Lakh. Mahindra has discontinued the KUV 100 NXT variant, however, the rest of the KUV will be available in the ex-showroom.
