India is the largest democracy in the world. A country where the majority of the population lives in its youth years. India has over 65% of its population below 35 years of age. Despite having a valuable asset called youth in the majority, for many years our country was led by leaders over 50 years of age. However, the 2019 Lok Sabha elections turned out to be futuristic where a total of 64 MPs were elected who were below the 40-year-old mark. In the 2019 elections, an estimated 8.2 crore first-time voters exercised their right to vote. While some of the elected representatives carried forward the legacy of their families, there are many others who stepped into the world of politics to make a difference. From Chandrani Murmu to Raghav Chadha, here is the list of 10 young Indian Parliamentarians:

Chandrani Murmu (29): Chandrani Murmu is the youngest Indian Parliamentarian elected in the 17th Lok Sabha. Murmu won the Keonjhar, Odisha, a constituency on a Biju Janta Dal ticket in the 2019 general elections.

Goddeti Madhavi (30): Goddeti Madhavi is a politician of the YSR Congress Party and represents the Araku constituency of Andhra Pradesh. She is also the youngest member of parliament from Andhra Pradesh.

Tejasvi Surya (31): A vibrant leader from the Bharatiya Janata Party, Lakya Suryanarayana Tejasvi Surya represents the Bangalore South constituency. He is also the Youngest BJP MP.

Nusrat Jahan (32): An actor turned politician, Nusrat, is a TMC candidate who won the Basirhat constituency in the 2019 general elections.

Prajwal Revanna (32): Prajwal Revanna is the youngest MP who represents Hassan Constituency, Karnataka. He is a politician from Janata Dal (Secular) party and the grandson of former Prime Minister of India H. D. Deve Gowda.

Mimi Chakrobarty (33) : The Bengali beauty, Mimi is a TMC leader and one of the youngest MPs in India. She represents Jadavpur constituency.

Indra Hang Subba (33): Indra Hang Subba was elected to the Lok Sabha, from Sikkim as a member of the Sikkim Krantikari Morcha.

Kinjarapu Ram Mohan Naidu (34) : Kinjarapu Ram Mohan Naidu is an MP from Srikakulam, Andhra Pradesh. He won the 2014 and 2019 general election as a Telugu Desam Party (TDP) candidate.

Praveen Kumar Nishad (34): Praveen Kumar Nishad is a member of the BJP from Sant Kabir Nagar, Uttar Pradesh.

Raghav Chadha (34): Raghav Chadha is a Member of Parliament, Rajya Sabha from Punjab. He is one of the most dynamic politicians in India and is also a practising chartered accountant.
