Chinese automaker BYD (Build Your Dreams) is all set to launch its new electric sedan BYD seal in India at the Auto Expo 2023. The new electric sedan BYD Seal is designed to compete with Tesla Model 3 in the global auto car market. This sedan has featured a rotating infotainment display. The new Seal sedan will be launched along with BYD 's Atto 3 SUV (Rs 33.99 lakh) and e6 MPV ( Rs 29.15 lakh) from BYD in the Auto Expo 2023 in India. 1. Battery :- This electric sedan has a All-wheel drive (AWD) dual-motors that comes with the two battery packs- one at 61.4kWh and the other at 82.5kWh. The 61.4kWh battery produces a maximum power of 201 bhp and the 82.5kWh battery produces a maximum power of 308 bhp. The motor gives a combined output of 523 BHP, which enables the car to sprint from 0-100 km/h in just 3.8 seconds.

2. Dimension:- The Seal comes in the following dimensions: 4,800mm length, 1875mm wide and 1460mm height.

3. Exterior:- Looking at the exterior, the Seal features radical details like a coupe-like all-glass roof, flush-fitting door handles, four boomerang-shaped LED daytime running lights, split headlamp design and a full-width LED light bar at the rear.

4. Interior:- The BYD Seal has a design similar to the Atto 3. It features a 15.4-inch rotating infotainment display in the centre console. The driver also benefits from a 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster and a head up display.

5. Top Speed:- The smaller battery 61.4kWh is capable of driving the car to 0-100 km in 5.7sec while the other 82.5kWh battery is capable of 800 km in 3. 9 sec.

6. Charging:- Both the batteries can be charged from 30 to 80% in 30 min with 150 KW fast DC charger.

7. Design:- BYD Seal is designed as the concept of Ocean X and follows BYD’s “ocean aesthetics” design language. It is the second passenger car of BYD's latest "Ocean Series" of plug-in electric vehicles after the smaller hatchback BYD Dolphin.
