The tournament of Asia cup 2022 ended with another heartbreak for Indian fans. With a new captain and new coach, India weren't able to win the tournament. With hard work and brilliant performance, Sri Lanka won their sixth Asia cup. There is not much time left for T20 World Cup, so team management had to decide on a better plan. Indian Fans are happy with Virat Kolhi's performance. He single-handedly took some of the matches as a batter in this tournament. However, some players didn't entertain the fans with their performances in the tournament. Here are the 7 Indian players who didn't perform well in the tournament:
1. KL Rahul: KL Rahul was not at all in form throughout the tournament. He looks like a free wicket for any team. He made only one half-century in the tournament which was against Afghanistan when India was out of the tournament.
2. Rishabh Pant: Wicket Keeper batsman Rishabh Pant didn't perform at his level at all. He got more chances than Dinesh Karthik but didn't sacrifice us in terms of performance.
3. Suryakumar Yadav: According to ICC cricket Rankings, Suryakumar Yadav is on the list of the top 5 best batters. However, in this important tournament, he didn't manage to perform well at all. He made only one half-century and that was against Hong Kong.
4. Hardik Pandya: Hardik Pandya was the star of the match in the first match against Pakistan where he made 33 runs and took 2 important wickets. But after that match, he didn't manage to score runs, failed to take wickets, and leaked runs.
5. Avesh Khan: Avesh Khan played two matches in Asia Cup 2022, he managed to take just two wickets in the tournament and leaked many runs. He was ruled out of the due to fever.
6. Arshdeep Singh: According to his level as a younger he perform well but in the term of the international level he didn't able to satisfy with his performance. Arshdeep Singh took five wickets in five games.
7. Deepak Hooda: Deepak Hooda got to bat in two innings where he could just score 19 runs. He didn't manage to fire as a finisher.
