American multinational technology company Apple on Tuesday hosted a global live event where its executives unveiled a series of products, ranging from new and upgraded iPhones to iPads. The new edition of the iPhone was being speculated for almost a year with new features and design update rumours. However, the end product was similar in more than one way to its predecessor, as Apple does so often. In fact, the new lineup has more in common with the previous generation iPhones than not. Although, the new iPad lineup has garnered a lot of liking for a refreshing new update on both iPad and iPad Mini. Meanwhile, an update to the Apple Watch Series 7 was also unveiled with a bigger dial a larger screen and a better battery. Here are all the products launched by Apple during its live event yesterday:

1. The most anticipated device of the year, iPhone 13 was launched in 4 different variants. The entry-level iPhone 13 and 13 mini starts from Rs 69,900 and Rs 79,900 respectively.

2. The notch is 20 per cent smaller, and the new Super Retina XDR display is 28 per cent brighter with 1200 nits peak brightness.

3. They also sport a new A15 Bionic chipset behind the back, which Apple says is up to 50 per cent faster than the leading rival chips and offers up to 30 per cent better graphical performance.

5. Both the phones come with an all-new Super Retina XDR display with ProMotion, an all-new Wide camera with a larger sensor with 1.9 um pixels for less noise and faster shutter speeds needed across lighting conditions, producing even more detailed photos.

6. For the iPad lineup, Apple revealed two updates, the iPad and the iPad mini. The Wi-Fi models of iPad, in silver and space grey finishes, will be available at a starting price of $329 and Wi-Fi + Cellular models from $459 in the US. Both the new iPad and iPad mini come with 64GB and 256GB storage options.

7. Apple Pencil (1st generation) is available for purchase separately, for $99, and is compatible with the iPad. The iPad mini, with an 8.3-inch Liquid Retina display featuring the brand new A15 Bionic chip, delivers up to 80 per cent faster performance than the previous generation. Moreover, the iPad mini will get the Touch ID feature, installed right on its power button.

8. Apple Watch Series 7 will start at $399, Watch SE starts at $279 and Watch Series 3 starts at $199 in the US.

9. The watches are available to order from apple.com/store and the Apple Store app, with availability in stores beginning September 16.

10. The Apple Watch Series 7 features a re-engineered Always-On Retina display with significantly more screen area and thinner borders. It is available in 41mm and 45mm sizes and provides 18-hour battery life on a single charge and 33 per cent faster charging compared with Apple Watch Series 6.
