The HURUN India has released its 2023 M3M HURUN Global Rich List. According to this list, Bernard Arnault, Chairman of Louis Vuitton Moet Hennessy (LVMH), occupies the top position. Among the Indian billionaires, Mukesh Ambani, Chairman of Reliance Industries is at 9th position whereas Gautam Adani has slipped to 23rd rank from the last year’s 2nd position. Ambani is the only Indian businessman who has got a place in the world’s Top 10 billionaires list. Here’re the Top 10 wealthiest persons in the world:

1.Bernard Arnault (USD 202 Billion): The French fashion tycoon and chairman of Louis Vuitton Moet Hennessy (LVMH) has been ranked as world’s richest man with a net worth of USD 202 billion. Bernard has moved up from previous year’s third rank to 1st position.

2. Elon Musk (USD 157 Billion): The American business magnate, Co-founder and CEO of Tesla and owner of Twitter has slipped to 2nd position with a net worth of USD 157 billion. Last year, Musk was ranked as the world’s richest man.

3. Bertrand Puech & Family (USD 134 Billion): The owner of the Hermes, a French luxury design house has been at 3rd place with a net worth of USD 134 billion. Last year Bertrand Puech & Family was at 10th position.

4. Jeff Bezos (USD 118 Billion): The founder and executive chairman of Amazon is named as the 4th richest man in the world with a net worth of USD 118 billion. Bezos was at 2nd place in last year’s rich list.

5. Warren Edward Buffett (USD 116 Billion): Warren Buffett is the Chief Executive Officer of textile company Berkshire Hathaway, and he has been named at 5th place in the rich list with a net worth of USD 116 billion. Berkshire Hathaway’s CEO has maintained his place from the previous year.

6. Bill Gates (USD 110 Billion): The Co-founder of Microsoft, world's largest software company, has slipped this year to 6th position with a net worth of USD 110 billion.

7. Steve Ballmer (USD 101 Billion): The owner of Los Angeles Clippers of the National Basketball Association (NBA) has moved up from 8th to 7th place with a net worth of USD 101 billion. Ballmer has also served as the CEO of Microsoft.

8. Lawrence Joseph Ellison (USD 100 Billion): The co-founder, executive chairman, chief technology officer and former CEO of Oracle corporation, American computer technology company is ranked as the 8th richest man with a net worth of USD 100 billion.

9. Mukesh Ambani (USD 82 Billion): Indian business tycoon, chairman and managing director of Reliance Industries, is named as world’s 9th richest man with a net worth of USD 82 billion. Ambani is the only Indian billionaire who has been named in top 10 list whereas he has kept holding his position for 3rd consecutive year.

10. Francoise Bettencourt Meyers (USD 80 Billion): The French businesswoman and vice chairwomen of L'Oréal, a French beauty brand, has been named as the world’s 10th richest person with a net worth of US$ 80 billion. Meyers is the only woman who is named in the Top 10 rich persons list.

23. Gautam Adani (USD 53 Billion): Indian Billionaire Industrialist, the founder and chairman of Adani group has lost the title of 2nd richest Asian. This year Gautam Adani has slipped to 23rd rank. Adani has faced great downfall in business as last year he was ranked at the 2nd place.
