Based on a 2016 novel of the same, the Netflix movie makes one uncomfortable, but in a way that grapples with your attention, at almost every point.

The Nest : A thriller drama, The Nest follows the life of an American entrepreneur, portrayed by Jude Law, and his family as they move into an English country manor. Their life faces a twisted turn, in this unconventional horror/thriller story with outstanding performances and a brilliant storyline.

Onward : Onward is a Pixar animation-fantasy story of two elven brothers, Ian and Barley, voiced by Tom Holland and Chris Pratt, who set out on a life-altering adventure to bring back their late father for a day. The movie is a funny, heart-warming, enjoyable adventure story, that will leave you with a smile.

The Trial of the Chicago 7 : An intense real-life account of the infamous 1969 trial of seven defendants charged by the federal government with conspiracy and more. Much more than a mere courtroom drama, the movie features inspiring performances and is significant in context to the story's understated relevance.

Tenet : The much anticipated Christopher Nolan sci-fi action thriller, stood up to its high expectations despite bombing on box office due to the pandemic. The plot follows a secret agent as he manipulates the flow of time to prevent World War II, and the movie is a totally worthy cinematic creation.

Greenland : In this action disaster movie, Gerard Butler as John Garrity, a structural engineer must do everything it takes to save his family as a planet-destroying Comet races to earth. The movie takes a different approach than a usual disaster movie, and will keep you on the edges of your seats continuously.

Tigertail : Based on a semi-biographical account of writer-director Alan Yang's father, Tigertail is a Netflix drama movie with an all Chinese cast, set in occupied Taiwan, showing the immigration experience in America in a moving light. A man reflects on his life journey from Taiwan to American in this beautiful creation.

Harley Quinn : Birds of Prey : The follow-up to Suicide Squad (2016), Birds of Prey carries a stellar performance by Margot Robbie, reprising her role as Harley Quinn, struggling to pick herself up after being abandoned by Joker. Quinn teams up with Huntress, Black Canary and Renee Montaya, in one of the best releases of 2020.
