Guillaume Pousaz is the Chief Executive Officer and founder of Checkout.com, an international financial technology company that processes payments for other companies. Guillaume founded Checkout.com in 2009, which was previously known as Opus Payments. As of March 2023, according to Forbes, Guillaume Pousaz has a net worth of $7.2 billion.

Pousaz founded the company to solve online payment processing problems for merchants and their customers. Guillaume's company was granted membership with Visa and Mastercard in 2013. In 2019, Checkout.com received a $230 million Series A funding round, and the company started to grow rapidly with the guidance and hard work of Guillaume.

In 2020, Checkout.com acquired an Australian company named Pin Payment, while in 2021, Guillaume started a personal investment firm known as Zinial Growth. In 2022, the Sunday Times Rich List named Guillaume Pousaz the 5th wealthiest person in the United Kingdom.

Guillaume Pousaz was born in 1982 in Switzerland. After completing his schooling, Pousaz went to Ecole Polytechnique Federale De Lausanne to study mathematical engineering. Later, he enrolled in HEC Lausanne to pursue a bachelor's degree in economics. Guillaume is married and has three children.
