PM Modi received welcome from Uttar Pradesh Governor Anandiben Patel and Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath upon his arrival in Ayodhya, Sunday, October 23, 2022.

Upon his arrival PM Modi offered prayers to Lord Ram in Shri Ram Janmabhoomi, Ayodhya, Uttar Pradesh.

PM Modi inspected the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra site in Ayodhya, accompanied by UP's Governor, and CM.

Prime Minister Modi performed Rajyabhishek of Prateek Swarup of Bhagwan Shree Ram in Ayodhya.

Addressing a gathering at the event PM Modi said, “One can find the inspiration of Sabka Saath Sabka Vikas and the principles of Sabka Vishwas and Sabka Prayas in Lord Rama’s words and thoughts.”  

The PM launched the Deepotsav celebrations in Ayodhya on the eve of the festival of Diwali.  

CM Yogi Adityanath holds the 6th consecutive Guinness World Record certificate for lighting over 15 lakh lamps in Ayodhya.  

Artists dress up as Lord Rama, Sita, Lakshman and Hanuman for Deepotsav celebrations, in Ayodhya.  

More than 22,000 volunteers at Ram ki Paidi near the Saryu bank lit over 15 lakh diyas.  

PM Modi, CM Yogi Adityanath and Governor Anandiben Patel along with people watched the mesmerizing sound and laser show in Ayodhya.
