"From the times of Gandhiji, India has been supporting the people of Palestine and this rally is going to have considerable significance in our country. In the INDIA political front all the allies have the same attitude on the Palestine issue and this has been discussed too," he said.

He also said that Union Minister for Women and Child Development Irani’s speech focused entirely on what-aboutery as it indirectly supported the Opposition’s claims of the central government’s failures.

He went on to add that the Parliamentary Standing Committee on Information Technology had sharply observed in 2022 that there is no justification provided by the government that demonstrates in any way that internet shutdowns actually impede, let alone prevent, violence or terrorism anywhere.
