In a directive dated February 16, 2024, issued by the Cabinet Secretariat department under the CM's jurisdiction, officials from the Health, Road Construction, Urban Development, and Housing, and Rural Works departments have been instructed to scrutinize the decisions implemented under the previous grand alliance government in Bihar, all of which were under Tejashwi Yadav's purview.

Expressing his disappointment, Nitish Kumar stated, “I was not against anyone and had given respect to them but I was in pain when I learnt that they were earning money. Even though the BJP, which was with us, had never done any kind of mischief, they (RJD) kept all leaders at one place and offered lakhs of rupees to move legislators here and there. Now, I will initiate investigation about how they could obtain money.”

People were not stepping out in the evening due to crime. I have undertaken development work after coming to power in 2005. Today, you are traveling on roads, you are seeing buildings. Who did it? It is I. Tejashwi was a child who did not know anything."
