Director Vignesh Shivan has shared a heartfelt note on the experience of directing Captain Cool MS Dhoni for a small video for Chennai Super Kings. Taking to Instagram, the director, who is a big fan of the cricketer, wrote a detailed post that was titled 'My favourite Story of myself!'

Starring none other than Dhoni himself as a superhero and warrior leader, the official motion poster was released on Wednesday by the cricketer on his official Facebook handle. The motion poster features a rugged-looking Dhoni, giving fans a glimpse into the world of Atharva and also a sneak peek into the first look of the cricketer as a superhero.

Dhoni, who retired from international cricket in 2019, seems to be exploring newer avenues, and Atharva happens to be one among them. The “new age graphic novel” was announced in 2020 as “an adaptation of an unpublished book by debutant author”. Dhoni’s wife Sakshi Singh Dhoni, who is the managing director of Dhoni Entertainment, spoke about producing the series. She called it a “thrilling series”.

Sharing her experience, Farah told IANS: "This is the first time I was meeting him. I can't tell you how wonderful he is! He is an extremely down to earth person. We had to change his clothes five times during the shoot and he did not complain." Recalling Dhoni's behaviour on the set, she further said: "Within five minutes we were chatting like we know each other for a long time! He also came to my van to have food. It was a pleasure working with him."
