In a blog post on Tuesday, Meta revealed that the content recommendation controls, named 'Sensitive Content Control' on Instagram and 'Reduce' on Facebook, will make it more challenging for individuals to encounter potentially sensitive content or accounts in areas like Search and Explore.

Meta recently provided users on Instagram and Facebook with more control over the content they see, and similar controls will be extended to Threads. Users in the US will have the ability to choose the default level of demotions on fact-checked content in their Feed on Threads.

This innovative image generator, initially showcased at Meta's Connect event in November, was initially integrated into Meta's AI chatbot. 'Imagine with Meta' leverages the Emu image generation model, Meta's existing technology that transforms text prompts into high-resolution images. The service is currently accessible for free to users in the United States, offering the generation of up to four images per prompt.

In response to these allegations, AMI has called on advertisers to redirect their campaigns toward media outlets that are perceived as "safe, reliable, and responsible," aiming to foster fair competition in the advertising landscape.

Throughout November, Zuckerberg engaged in the daily sale of Meta shares, tallying up to 560,180 shares for the month, according to Market Watch. On November 29, he submitted orders to sell an additional 28,009 shares, based on Form 4 filings with the US Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC). At the closing stock price of $327.15, the total value of the shares offloaded amounted to $192.9 million.

The lawsuits against major social media platforms by families and school districts in the US shed light on the significant concerns surrounding the potential adverse effects of these platforms on users, particularly children and teenagers.

Among the upcoming features, the platform is testing the capability for users to individually scale, crop, and rotate their video clips, offering improved editing flexibility.

"Meta Quest 3’s extended battery feature gives you more control over the tradeoff between active battery life and high performance," Meta said in a blogpost. According to the company, this feature is designed to help users decide whether they want to extend playtime or experience the best possible graphics.
