Additional Sessions Judge Pulastya Pramachala of the Karkardooma Courts, after carefully examining the evidence and circumstances, concluded that although the 11 accused individuals were present at various times during the mob's activities and were linked to other riot-related incidents, it could not be established that they were vicariously responsible for the incident resulting in Negi's tragic death.

The court was dealing with Mohammed Wasim’s sixth interim bail application, and the present one sought a 30-day release to attend his sister’s wedding and related ceremonies. Wasim is named in an FIR, which includes charges of rioting, sections of the Arms Act, and the Prevention of Damage to Public Property Act.

A bench of Chief Justice of India D.Y. Chandrachud and comprising Justice P.S. Narasimha told senior advocate Abhishek Manu Singhvi, representing Sisodia, that his client has alternative remedies available before the Delhi High Court and stressed that he must move either the trial court or the high court for the relief he is seeking from the apex court.

Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal has accepted their resignations. According to a AAP source, the CM may reshuffle the cabinet after the resignation of two ministers who were holding important portfolios. Sisodia, who was arrested on Sunday and sent to CBI custody till March 5 on Monday, held 18 portfolios including Finance and Education.

Special judge M.K. Nagpal of the Rouse Avenue Courts will pronounce his order later on Monday. The agency arrested Sisodia on Sunday after eight hours of questioning. During the hearing, the CBI said: "Conspiracy was hatched in a very planned and secret manner."

The fresh details have emerged hours after the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI), after a day-long questioning on Sunday, arrested Delhi Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia in connection with the excise policy scam. The source claimed that besides the chats, a bureaucrat had also recorded his statement against Sisodia. The CBI also alleged that Sisodia has destroyed evidence.

It said that the present case was registered against the deputy Chief minister & In charge Excise Minister, and 14 others for investigation into the matter of alleged irregularities in framing and implementation of Excise Policy for 2021-22 and extending post tender benefits to private persons.

Manish Sisodia's questioning began at around 11.10 a.m. As per sources, he was asked about kickbacks which were allegedly received to campaign in Goa elections. He was also confronted with the statement of accused Dinesh Arora who has now turned approver.

The CBI has made Sisodia the accused number one in its FIR. Soon after receiving the summon, Sisodia took to Twitter to criticize the agency. "They conducted 14 hours raid at my house, they didn't find anything. They searched my locker nothing was found from there too. They went to my village but returned empty handed. Now they have called me to join the investigation.
