The English pop rock band, The 1975 could face legal action after Matty Healy’s kiss with a male bandmate at Malaysia’s Good Vibes festival led to the event being cancelled. The singer spoke out in protest against the country’s laws, where LGBTQ+ people can face up to 20 years in prison, reports 'Mirror.co.uk'.

The Ranbir Kapoor-starrer 'Animal', Sunny Deol's 'Gadar 2' and 'OMG 2' headlined by Akshay Kumar will battle it out at the box office. The Anil Sharma-helmed 'Gadar 2' is the sequel of the massive 2001 hit 'Gadar: Ek Prem Katha', starring Sunny Deol, Ameesha Patel and Utkarsh Sharma in the lead roles. The film revolves around patriotism.

Phalke, who was born on this day 153 years ago, laid the foundation of Indian cinema with his first feature 'Raja Harishchandra' in 1913 after getting inspired by the French silent short film 'The Life of Christ', which presented the life of Jesus in 25 tableaux based on the canonical gospels.

For the first time, several films will have their national and Delhi premieres at the festival. The national premiers include the Malayalam film 'Meghdoot/ The Cloud Messenger' directed by Rahat Mahajan, and two Bengali films: Sujit Kumar Pyne's 'Meghbari', and Aritra Sen's 'Ghore Pherar Gaan/ The Homecoming Song'.

The story is based on the events that took place between the Indian and Chinese troops at the Galwan region on June 15, 2020 when 200 Indian Soldiers bravely defended their territory against a force of 1200 Chinese Liberation Army soldiers. The book is written by journalists Shiv Aroor, Senior Executive Editor at India Today TV.

The cast includes Shriya Saran, Sharman Joshi and Prakash Raj in leading roles, in addition to debutant Ozu Barua and Gracy Goswamy in key roles. Benjamin Gilani, Suhasini Mulay, Mona Ambeognkar, Leela Samson, Bugs Bhargava, Vinay Varma, Sreekanth Iyengar, Vaquar Sheikh and Phani are also part of the cast.Veteran Indian composer Ilaiyaraaja has recreated the songs along with the London Philharmonic Orchestra to suit the sensibilities of an Indian audience.

In December last year, Agnihotri had apologised to the Delhi High Court for his remarks but it had deferred the hearing after recording his submission that he will remain present personally in court for the hearing on March 16. However, Agnihotri appeared via video conferencing on Thursday and said that he has fever.
