At Anand Vihar, the air quality was in the 'severe' category, with PM 2.5 at 428, PM at 433, and NO2 at 103, in the 'moderate' category. The AQI at ITO also remained in the 'severe' category, with PM 2.5 reaching 447 and PM 10 at 403.

At the Anand Vihar area, PM2.5 levels stood at an alarming 476, categorized as 'severe,' while PM10 reached 468. CO levels dropped to 108, and NO2 was recorded at 152, classified as 'moderate' by the Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB).

Minimum temperatures in several regions are recorded between 7-11 degrees Celsius across Punjab, Haryana, Chandigarh, Delhi, Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, and Rajasthan.

The India Meteorological Department (IMD) reported that visibility is expected to improve as the day progresses, with the minimum temperature recorded at 10.7 degrees Celsius—four notches above the season's average.

Starting as 'very poor' in the morning, the air quality in the national capital deteriorated further by afternoon, slipping into the 'severe' category.

Minimum temperatures are expected to range from 6-10 degrees Celsius across most parts of Punjab, Haryana, Chandigarh, Delhi, and West Uttar Pradesh, and between 11-12 degrees Celsius over most parts of Rajasthan, East Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, and certain areas of north Chhattisgarh and Jharkhand.

"Very Dense fog with zero Visibility prevailing at Delhi IGI Airport since 0530 hrs IST today. RVR at all RWYs 125 to 175m, and Operations are under CAT IIIB," the IMD posted on social media.
