Addressing reporters here, Goyal said: "I am surprised at the thinking of opposition that as neither they understand the subject nor the issue as they are unable to tell the people about the subject and just to politicise the issue take help of lies and false narrative especially the Congress."

"We have today lodged a strong protest through diplomatic channels with the Chinese side on the so called 2023 ‘standard map’ of China that lays claim to India’s territory," external affairs ministry spokesperson Arindam Bagchi said on Tuesday.

If sources are to be believed, Piyush Goyal while instructing them to be always present in the House during the proceedings of the Rajya Sabha, even told these MPs of the party to go for lunch only during lunch time.
