Majithia offered to take on the role of a foster father for the children if Mann failed in his responsibilities. He urged Mann to fulfill his duties and criticized him for making false allegations against political rivals.

In a statement released here, Majithia said the decision to stop visas for Canadian citizens has come at a time when wedding season is about to start.

The Chief Minister said the hands and souls of Opposition leaders -- BJP’s Sunil Jakhar, Akali Dal’s Sukhbir Badal and Congress leaders Partap Singh Bajwa and Amarinder Singh Raja Warring -- are drenched with blood of the state as they have betrayed Punjab and its people.

This time it’s the Chief Minister of Punjab Bhagwant Mann and the Chief Minister of Delhi Arvind Kejriwal, who landed in Udaipur to grace the wedding festivities.

Mann clarified that the state had taken enough action on the drugs and law and order, the issues raised by the Governor.

He announced the establishment of Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) regional office in Amritsar within a month to tackle the growing drug trafficking and menace in the state. Shah questioned the state government over its poll "guarantee" of giving Rs 1,000 per month to every adult woman.

Accompanying cricketer Jass Inder Baidwan, Mann told the media here he met the cricketer in Dharamsala when he was there to watch IPL match. "I will not reveal his name. He plays in Punjab's team," said Mann. "We will now provide the job to the cricket player, if he fulfills the criteria of the government job under the state's sports policy," Mann told the media.
