Samsung Introduces 'Circle to Search' for Galaxy A Series and Tab S9 FE Devices

Samsung Electronics said Wednesday it will update the 'Circle to Search' feature with Google on some Galaxy A series smartphones and the Galaxy Tab S9 FE Series. Available on the Galaxy Z Flip6 and Z Fold6 already, the feature offers full-page translation, homework help, QR and barcode scanning, among many more.

Circle to Search: This tool allows people to search for anything, intuitively, by just circling, highlighting, or tapping any part of the screen in order to select text, images, and videos without having to switch between apps.

This feature, developed in tight collaboration with Google, epitomizes the continuous commitment of Samsung to openness and collaboration. The company has further commented that AI-driven search results enrich information and context to make searching seamless and engaging.

Using this feature, users can search for anything from any screen or any app in a way most natural to them.

Samsung has already rolled out Galaxy AI features across more devices, in its attempt to lead the next generation of mobile AI while making such innovations more reachable. It plans further extension of this innovative experience to more than 100 million active Galaxy users by 2024 and will be constantly looking out for new ways through which to leverage the vast potential of mobile AI.
