In a scintillating grand finale of sorts Friday night, actress Sana Maqbul emerged the winner of the third season of the controversial reality show 'Bigg Boss OTT'. At the sparkling event—decorated with stars and fun—Sana won the top spot, bagging the prestigious trophy with prize money of over Rs 25 lakh.
She fought hard to stay in the Bigg Boss house – one of the most notorious places – for more than a month. Sana stood her ground very hard against other final contestants like Ranvir Shorey, Kritika Malik, Sai Ketan Rao, and Naezy.
As soon as she was announced as the winner, it got emotional for Sana as she thanked everyone, saying, "I want to share this victory with Naezy, who has been believing in me from the very start of this journey. Naezy, I want you to hold this trophy with me."
In the anxiety-filled moments just before the declaration of the winner, the last two contestants, Sana and Naezy, revealed what was going through their minds. While Sana confessed to being "very nervous," Naezy responded with, "I'm living in the moment."
The elimination started by removing Kritika from the Top 5, followed by Sai Ketan and finally Bollywood actor Ranvir Shorey.
The grand finale was an action-packed night wherein the Top 5 contestants with the former housemates churned out performances to some popular Bollywood hits, from "Mere Gully Mein" to "Dhaakad," "Sher Aya Sher," "Khallas," "Fashion Ka Jalwa," "Jungle Mein Kaand," and finally, "Ek Main Aur Ekk Tu."
Joining in on this stellar act, Shraddha Kapoor and Rajkummar Rao took center stage as they came to promote their upcoming film, "Stree 2." Ayaan Agnihotri and Payal Dev also came to the stage to introduce a new track, "Party Fever."
The host of the evening, Anil Kapoor, did make a very memorable entrance by grooving to "Nach Punjaabban" from his latest film, "Jug Jugg Jeeyo," with support from former contestants like Payal Malik, Armaan Malik, Neeraj Goyat, Poulomi Das, Chandrika Dixit, Sana Sultan, Adnan Shaikh, Shivani Kumari, Vishal Pandey, and Deepak Chaurasia.
During the show, Anil Kapoor lauded the top five contestants: Ranvir Shorey for his pure heart, Sana for playing the game so well, Naezy for his unpredictable style, Kritika Malik for the humor, and Sai Ketan for his loyalty and intense competition.
