Tesla must tell Elon Musk to delete a 2018 tweet, rules US agency

Musk had tweeted: "Nothing stopping Tesla team at our car plant from voting union. Could do so tmrw if they wanted. But why pay union dues & give up stock options for nothing? Our safety record is 2X better than when the plant was UAW & everybody already gets healthcare". The board on Thursday gave the order as part of a years-long legal battle between Tesla and the United Auto Workers (UAW) union.

Addressing the China Development Forum virtually, the Tesla CEO said that spying business is something Tesla would never get involved in. "There's a very strong incentive for us to be very confidential with any information. If Tesla used cars to spy in China or anywhere, we will get shut down," Musk told the forum, The Verge reported on Sunday.
Germany's Porsche posts record revenues in 2020

Porsche's profit before tax also increased to almost 4.4 billion euros in 2020. In total, it delivered more than 272,000 vehicles to customers worldwide, down by three per cent compared to the company's best year ever in 2019, the Xinhua news agency reported. "The financial year 2020 was successful for Porsche -- despite challenging circumstances," said Oliver Blume, chairman of the executive board of Porsche AG, in a statement.
US probes another Tesla Autopilot crash

The US National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) swung into action after the driver of a Tesla Model Y smashed into a state trooper's cruiser near Michigan. Michigan police said the driver was using Autopilot, Tesla's advanced driver-assistance system (ADAS), at the time of the crash, The Verge reported on Thursday.
Mercedes-Benz India launches new E-Class

Ford introduces EcoSport SE Featuring at Rs 10.49L

Vehicle registrations in January falls over 9% YoY

On Tuesday, data released by the Federation of Automobile Dealers Associations (FADA) showed that over 15.92 lakh vehicles were registered January 2021, compared with over 17.63 lakh units in January 2020. The fall comes after December 2020's registration rose on a YoY basis.
